William James Moore Sr.

March 5, 1942 — March 24, 2022

William “Bill” Moore 80 of Castle Rock passed away at home with his family by his side. Born to Rev. Ernest and Fay Moore, March 5, 1942. Bill was married to his wife Nancy for 56 years. He lived his life in Castle Rock, graduating in 1960. Bill was an outstanding athlete in school earning him a basketball scholarship to LCC. He continued his love of sports by playing many years for teams such as the Standard Dairy Cheesemakers fastpitch. He would be at every event, he loved to watch his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids compete.

Bill had various jobs, he worked at the Fibre mill, Boeing, Texaco station in CR and retired from the Longview post office after 31 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, watching the Mariners and other sports.

Bill is survived by his son Jim & Kim Moore, daughter Tammy & Dennis Ehrhorn, son Dennis & Lisa Moore. Grandkids Kattie Stone, AJ & Amanda, Austin & Sierra, Elizabeth, Shawn & Jewelle Moore, Laken, Seth and Nakayla Ehrhorn, along with great grandkids Tyson, Avery and Deklan. Sister Virginia Liasjo, brothers David & Deanna, Richard & Eileen Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, brother Ronald, and brother-in-law Toby.

He will be missed.
