Wallace "Wally" Eugene Markham

Wallace “Wally” Eugene Markham, 70, of Winlock, WA, died on March 3, 2023 from injuries sustained in a single car accident. His loss was completely unexpected and his family is deeply saddened.


Wally was born on May 24th, 1952 to Kenneth and Della (Williams) Markham in Seattle, WA.


Wally is survived by his daughters; Leslie and Gary Jeppesen of Phoenix, AZ., and Michele Dull of Tampa, FL., 3 step-children; Dustin MacFall of Port Angeles, WA., Elyce Umana of Roanoke, TX., and Austin Mudd of Tampa, Fl., 10 grandchildren; Alexandra, Angelia, Matthew, Justin, Christian, Maleeya, Gage, Addison, Penelope and Sarah, a sister Roberta “Bobbi” Campbell of Winlock, WA, ex-wives; Tammy Markham of Port Angeles, WA., and Linda Barrow of Tampa, Fl., and many cousins in North Dakota and Washington.


Wally was predeceased by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law Trudy and John Reisenaur, brother-in-law Col. John Campbell, Aunt Coretta (Williams) and Jack Gullstrand, Aunt Ginny (Markham) and John Nau and Uncle Jim Williams.


Wally attended New Rockford High School in North Dakota and shortly after graduation; Wally enlisted in the Navy and served in Vietnam. After the Navy, he worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for Boeing then as an Aircraft Maintenance contractor all over the US and many international locations to include Iraq.


Anyone who knew Wally, knew he was incredibly kindhearted and a generous soul. He had an immense passion for travel and adventure and was always a source of positivity. Wally loved music and was an avid Blues enthusiast. He was also an excellent dancer and loved being on the water. Most of all, Wally loved his family and friends deeply. He was always the one to keep in touch and visit whenever his travels brought him nearby.


Wally's family and friends will miss him more than words can say.


Wally's cremation was arranged through Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel of Toledo, WA and the family will share a private Celebration of Life with family and friends. The family requests all that knew and loved Wally to please share remembrances and celebrations of Wally's life, on the "Tribute Wall".
